Royal author Louise Roberts has provided insights into why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might face challenges with their rumored visit to Australia. Following their recent "quasi-royal" tour of Nigeria, where they engaged in several public activities, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have expressed a desire to embark on a world tour. However, Roberts, speaking with Sky News Australia, has criticized this plan due to their previous emphasis on maintaining privacy.
Roberts pointed out that a world tour contradicts their stated desire for privacy, emphasizing that they are unable to visit places where King Charles III and Queen Camilla are scheduled to go, including Australia. This restriction poses a significant hurdle for their plans.

“In May, after Nigeria, and that was a successful faux royal tour for them, let's face it, Harry made the comment they want to do more of this,” Roberts said. She further explained that they are restricted from visiting locations that King Charles III and Queen Camilla will be visiting, including Australia. Roberts criticized this plan by pointing out the contradiction between their desire for a world tour and their previous insistence on maintaining privacy, saying that a “world tour is a direct contradiction” to their “obsession with privacy.”

Meanwhile, Meghan and Prince Harry have shared glimpses of their Nigeria trip with their fans. In a heartwarming moment, the former "Suits" actress was deeply moved by a gift she received for her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. During the trip, the former senior royals were given handcrafted teddy bears by Grace Busari, the 13-year-old daughter of CNN Nigeria Bureau Chief.
The sweet gesture left Meghan emotional as she embraced Grace's mother, Stephanie, after receiving the gift. Stephanie later recounted the moment, saying, “Wow! That was the weekend that was! Flying to Abuja to cover the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit, I truly didn't know what to expect.”
“I was very pleasantly surprised. They are fun, caring, loved up, compassionate, total naturals with a crowd. To see Harry sitting on the floor to play volleyball with disabled servicemen was something, and he showed such compassion too during his hospital visit to Kaduna,” she added.
I have to admit I really do not want them visiting Australia. I feel strongly about the way they have treated the Royal Family and the idea of them coming here and expecting to be made welcome does not sit well with me. They have behaved so badly towards Harry's family that I don't see why, considering Australia is part of the Commonwealth, they would expect to be made welcome here any more than they would be in the UK. For what it's worth, I hope they stay away.
