The Archewell Foundation has funded a project in partnership with The GEANCO Foundation to provide school supplies and menstrual products to girls and young women in Nigeria. This support aims to empower these girls by ensuring they have the necessary tools for education and hygiene.

Meghan Markle's interest in and connection to Nigeria stem from her discovery of Nigerian ancestry through a genealogy test. Learning about her Nigerian heritage has strengthened her bond with the country and its people.

Meghan expressed her desire to visit Nigeria, stating that she looks forward to visiting the country "for [her] mum and the kids." This indicates her personal commitment to connecting with her Nigerian roots and supporting causes that benefit the people of Nigeria.

Meghan's connection to Nigeria was evident during her interactions with Nigerian athletes at the Invictus Games. She referred to a competitor as her "Nigerian sister" and was warmly received by other team members.

Meghan was given the nickname "Amira Ngozi Lolo" by the defense chief during her interactions with the Nigerian team.
