The delay in the release of Omid Scobie's new book, titled 'Endgame,' has reportedly caused nervousness among royal aides. The book, described as a "penetrating investigation" about the Royal Family's "fight for survival," was originally scheduled for release in August but has now been pushed back to November 21. The change in publication date has led to concerns that Scobie might capitalize on the ongoing rift between Prince Harry and the royal family by including inside material related to events such as the King's coronation.

Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal biographer, expressed doubts about the credibility of Scobie's sources, stating that no reputable royal source would talk to him. Fitzwilliams also criticized Scobie's previous book, "Finding Freedom," which was co-written with Carolyn Durand and covered Harry and Meghan's decision to step down as senior royals. He called it badly written and inadequate. Fitzwilliams speculated that "Endgame" might be an attempt to cash in on the Sussexes' rift with the royal family and suggested it might not be taken seriously.

The leaked details of Prince Harry's memoir, titled "Spare," which included his comments about the number of Taliban he killed during his military service, drew criticism earlier this year. Colonel Richard Kemp called the comments "ill-judged," and Lord Darroch, a former National Security Adviser, said he would have advised against disclosing the kill count.
Regarding the Sussexes' media ventures, Spotify recently announced that it was dropping Meghan's podcast, "Archewell Audio," while there are reports that Netflix plans to end its deal with the couple when it expires in 2025. It is mentioned that Harry and Meghan are developing a Netflix show called "Bad Manners," and a YouTube star, Shallon Lester, has threatened legal action against them, accusing them of defaming and slandering her in their Netflix documentary.
