The speculation surrounding Meghan Markle relaunching her personal blog, The Tig, has been fueled by her recent meeting with Gwyneth Paltrow, a well-known blogger. The Duchess of Sussex originally launched The Tig in 2014 as a passion project, sharing insights into her life, including her struggles with fitting in during her high school years and her journey towards self-acceptance.

In one of her blog posts, Meghan expressed the pain she felt from always feeling like she didn't fit in during her teens and her 20s. She discussed the cliques at her high school and how being biracial placed her somewhere in between different groups. To avoid eating lunch alone, she kept herself busy with extracurricular activities during that time.

The Duchess of Sussex said her '20s were brutal' and her 'teens were even worse' where the agonised over 'how to fit in'. The blog highlighted Meghan's close friendship with Jessica Mulroney, a Canadian stylist and mother-of-three. Meghan praised Jessica's fashion sense and listed her style tips in a post. Their friendship seemed strong, with Jessica being involved in Meghan's wedding and other important moments. However, their friendship reportedly cooled in 2020 after Jessica faced criticism for comments regarding white privilege during a conversation about the Black Lives Matter movement.
