Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a public appearance at the NBA basketball game in Los Angeles, where they were cheered on by 20,000 fans, including Kim Kardashian and Adam Sandler. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen sitting in a box at the Crypto.com Arena and appeared on the jumbotron, where they were encouraged to kiss by the crowd. Although Harry leaned in for a smooch, Meghan giggled and grabbed his arm instead.

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, Prince William joined veterans to lay a wreath for Anzac Day at the Australian Memorial in London.

Earlier, Meghan made her first public appearance since it emerged she would not attend King Charles' coronation. She introduced her photographer friend Misan Harriman ahead of his Ted Talk, where he spoke about capturing the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020. Meghan and Harry are close to Harriman and asked him to photograph them for their second pregnancy announcement. Meghan's PR team also dismissed claims that she is dodging the coronation because she believes the Royal Family failed to tackle its "unconscious bias".
