Heiress v. actress! Kayla Rockefeller takes aim at Meghan Markle - saying Meghan's popularity has plummeted to an all-time low in the US because she's viewed as too 'controversial'

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, is viewed as too controversial by many Americans, according to Kayla Rockefeller, a scion of the Rockefeller dynasty, known as one of America's Royal families. Rockefeller stated that she wouldn't want Meghan to wear or model her new Kayla Jaclyne jewelry line because she "couldn't take that chance" on such a contentious figure. This follows a February poll that revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan's popularity in the US had plummeted to an all-time low, making them less popular than the disgraced Prince Andrew.

The publication of Harry's memoir, Spare, prompted backlash from royal insiders and also saw the Sussexes suffering the humiliation of being parodied in an episode of South Park titled The Worldwide Privacy Tour. It appears that another iconic American institution has turned its back on the Sussexes: The Rockefeller family. Speaking at the Kayla Jaclyne launch party, Kayla told DailyMail.com she is interested in using her platform to sell jewelry and become a philanthropist.
